Welcome to Arizona's experimental philosophy lab!

Our research focuses on intuitive judgments that figure in philosophical inquiry. We are interested in discovering the psychological and cultural sources of philosophically important intuitions. We are currently exploring several issues, including the following:

  • intuitive judgments of consciousness
  • psychological limits on the imagination
  • group differences in moral judgment
  • intuitions about free will and responsibility
